Bienvenido a la Muleta del escritor, una web de apoyo diseñada para escritores noveles, estudiantes y para todo aquel que se apasione con las palabras.

El inglés no es mi lengua materna, entonces, ¿por qué me meto en este lío? Después del éxito de esta web, originalmente en español, he decidido traducir estas útiles herramientas descriptivas para que todo aquel que desee iniciarse en la aventura de escribir, pueda disponer de ellas. Tras cada infografía, hay un concienzudo y duro trabajo de búsqueda, recopilación y organización. Espero que mis esfuerzos por traducirlas, os sean de gran utilidad.

Cuando era más joven, siempre estaba buscando una fórmula infalible que describiera las escenas como yo las imaginaba. Con el tiempo, aprendí que no había un sistema perfecto e incuestionable para escribir, sino que era el propio escritor el que decidía la voz de su narrador y el que encontraba su personal estilo narrativo. Pero, esa larga búsqueda de un método infalible no fue en balde, ya que recopilé infinidad de herramientas descriptivas como: listas de adjetivos, verbos, modismos y expresiones afines, que ordené por temáticas. Al final, esa fascinación por agrupar palabras y expresiones me inspiró a crear esta web de fichas visuales, y herramientas de apoyo para escritores noveles, donde aúno las dos pasiones que han condicionado mi vida: escribir y dibujar.

En la actualidad, compagino la creación de esta web con la escritura de novelas.

English is not my mother tongue, so why am I getting into this mess? After the success of this website, which was originally in Spanish, I have decided to translate these useful descriptive tools so that anyone who wants to start the adventure of writing can access them. Behind every infographic, there is a hard and painstaking work of searching, compiling, and organizing. I hope that my efforts to translate them will be of great use to you.

When I was younger, I kept looking for an infallible method that would describe scenes as I envisioned them. Over time, I learned that there was no perfect and unquestionable system for writing, but that it was the writer who decided the voice of their narrator and who found their personal narrative style. However, the long search for an infallible method was not in vain. I compiled and ordered by topic an infinity of descriptive tools such as lists of adjectives, verbs, idioms, and related expressions. In the end, that fascination for grouping words and expressions inspired me to create this website of visual cards and supporting tools for new writers. Here I combine the two passions that have conditioned my life: writing and drawing.

Today, I combine creating this website with writing novels.
